So... where shall we start? If you're thinking of joining, we'd suggest having a good old look around – just call to make an appointment or drop by if you're passing. The Club was founded in 1937 and welcomes men, women and children. We've currently got 3000 members, and every year, we're delighted to welcome new faces to the Club. We're proud of our relaxed environment and friendly reputation, so come and experience it for yourselves.

Cheam's got talent!

We've got a great range of facilities, including a stunning snooker room with three full-sized snooker tables. Members can play darts, go dancing, keep fit or play indoor bowls. And when that gets too exhausting, they can watch footie on the telly! Saturdays are always lively – and we get up to 200 people every week coming to see bands, ranging from rock 'n roll and swing to tribute acts. Cheam's 'Rod Stewart' went down particularly well! Families are well catered for, and we offer free entertainment for the kids every month. As for the bar... well, let's just say we think it's the best-stocked in Cheam. Cheers!

"There's a real family atmosphere here"

The Club's Chairman, Nigel Heaton, says:
"Cheam Social Club has always been open to men and women – although when the Club was founded in 1937, the women couldn't vote or play snooker, or basically do anything! I had the honour of proposing that women could become full members 12 years ago – and now we have women on the Committee. There's often children at the Club too, which is great. There's a real family atmosphere here. We hope you'll join us!"
