For the kids

We all know that kids cost a fortune – so you'll be shocked to learn that there's something you can do with them that's completely free. On the last Sunday of every month there's a free – yes, free – children's entertainer in the hall. We've had Punch & Judy, balloon artists, magicians, you name it! Check the events page for information on what's coming up. So, with their entertainment sorted out, you can treat yourself – maybe to a little tipple at the bar and perhaps a packet of crisps. Go on, splash out, live a little.

"It's a family friendly club"

Claire Stears, Committee Member and mum of Lewys, 5, and Cerys, 4, says:
"My two kids love the entertainers – they get so excited, and ask 'who is it today, mummy?' It's always popular and last month, there were 40 kids there! I like the fact that this is a family-friendly club. We come here as a family for Sunday lunch and the curry nights are great for my lot too. My four-year-old loves curry – she takes after her mum!"

Club member Matt Wilkie says:
"My kids were snapped after a thoroughly enjoyed afternoon's entertainment. Maisie got the gig as the magician's assistant and Harvey won the joke-telling competition with the following cracker. Ok, so there were two spiders in the airing cupboard – which one's in the army? Answer: the one on the tank! Boom boom!"

Kids' entertainer, Charlie Farley, has appeared at the Club a number of times and his celebrity clients have included Jimmy White, the Getty family and HRH Crown Prince & Princess Paulos of Greece!
