ABOUT US

So... where shall we start? If you're thinking of joining, we'd suggest having a good old look around – just call to make an appointment or drop by if you're passing.

The Club was founded in 1937 and welcomes men, women and children. We've currently got 2040 members, and every year, we're delighted to welcome new faces to the Club. We're proud of our relaxed environment and friendly reputation, so come and experience it for yourselves.

We've got a great range of facilities, including a stunning snooker room with three full-sized snooker tables. Members can play darts, go dancing, keep fit or play indoor bowls. And when that gets too exhausting, they can watch footie on the telly!

Saturdays are always lively – and we get up to 200 people every week coming to see bands, ranging from rock 'n roll and swing to tribute acts. Cheam's 'Rod Stewart' went down particularly well! Families are well catered for, and we offer free entertainment for the kids every month. As for the bar... well, let's just say we think it's the best-stocked in Cheam. Cheers!

"It's a very friendly and relaxed Club"

Club secretary Roger Burns says: "I've been a member since 1971 – and on the Committee since 1980 – and I love the place! It's very friendly and relaxed and very popular with families. Weekends are great here – we get up to 200 people in the hall most Saturdays to watch the bands. There's always something different and we've had everything from Lionel Richie impersonators to rock and roll."
